HELM'S DEEP

This picture has nothing to do with the real Helms Deep from J.R.R. Tolkien’s LOTR..sometimes I just name pictures after the first thing that comes to my mind..this time I was aware that the water was deep and dark green color gave it a touch of mystery.

    What I like about this pic is the difference between one side and the other. It’s funny how much calmer the water is on the right side.

    Yes, that’s the eye catching detail :)
    The rough sea is closer to the beach, and the calmer one is the begining of the open sea.

    I think that Helm’s Deep is very appropriate as a title. It reminds me of army approaching the great wall of the stronghold and everyone behind the wall is calm and silent. Great photo, by the way! :)

    I agree with RainKing – it’s that division and difference on each side in the texture of the water that’s very attractive here.
