The D-Day has come today..the Nikon D70 day :)
This morn I hit the road, went to Belgrade, collected camera and 1GB CF (should be enough :) ) and started experimenting with it. Well..to be honest, one cannot call point-and-shoot settings experimenting ;) But I’m finding my way with it. I took some 50 shots/snaps and finished with 3-4 worth of sharing..and a drained battery.
I was even stopped by police officers and asked to id myself. Then they started inquiring about the camera and asking for some advices on purchasing a digicam :) They “let me go” (as if they were holding me) without even waiting for the results of ran id check. I guess I don’t look like a suspicious guy. I’f you’re thinkg right now: “Why the hack is this guy making fuss about an routine id check?!” Well, it was my first id check ever! :)

Yay, congratulations on your new camera. Excellent start, too. I love the reflection. Great colors.
Great first post from the new gear!
And ultimately, once fully charged you’ll probably find the battery life to be relatively huge, if the D70 is anything like the Canon 300D. I can usually shoot a hundred or so shots per day for a week or so on one battery (almost never use flash or continous shooting mode, so that helps, I’m sure).
